Them Girls Do Groovy Things

Last weekend Danielle and I enjoyed an activity-packed couple days with our old roommate, Brigette. She abandoned us for Law school in Indiana two years ago. In essence, she chose harsh winters and heady conversations over sunny afternoons and bonding over awful reality TV (we were devoted fans of Tila Tequila when we lived together). I'll have to break up photos of her visit into multiple posts as we did a whole lot. Saturday daytime was spent thrift-storing around Silverlake. We found a new shop called 8 limbs that took over the old Sirens and Sailors location. Lots of cool vintage dresses at so-so prices with a wacky and energetic sales girl I couldn't decide if I liked or not. A very LA experience that's difficult to put into words. Then we went back to my pad and cooked up some grub to take with us to the Hollywood Forever cemetery screening of assorted 60's and 70's films about music. It was a dusk till dawn event but after our eventful day we crashed almost immediately after inhaling our schmorgesborg of food and wine. A good day till the very end...
